Follow the Fish
Our Seasonal Fishing Schedule
From the Gulf of Mexico to the Northeast canyons, we stay on the move—following the bite and putting our clients on some of the best fishing opportunities in the country. Every season brings something different, and we’re in constant pursuit of what’s next.
Winter
Jumbo Yellowfin Tuna
Venice, Louisiana
December — March
December through March, we bring the boat south to Venice, Louisiana to focus on jumbo yellowfin tuna—and this fishery is as wild as it gets.
Giant tunas crashing the surface, run-and-gun style fishing, casting into feeding frenzies, and battling these fish on spin gear—it doesn’t get more exciting than this.
When we’re not chasing giants on top, we mix it up by deep dropping for swordfish, targeting wahoo, and jigging everything from grouper and cobia to hard-fighting jacks.
We offer lodging and all-inclusive packages through Fish Venice at Cypress Cove, making it easy to show up and get right into the action.
Come experience what fishing at the edge of the world is all about.
Spring
Striped Bass
Raritan Bay, New Jersey
April — Early June
April through early June, we shift back north to target striped bass in Raritan Bay—one of the most productive fisheries on the East Coast.
Known for nonstop action and serious quality fish—what we call wall hangers—this fishery offers something for everyone.
From live bait to topwater, it’s all hands-on, light tackle fishing that keeps you engaged all day.
We run trips out of Morgan Marina with up to 6 anglers per trip, offering two sessions daily: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
All rods, reels, bait, and tackle are provided, featuring top-of-the-line gear from Daiwa and Zack’s Custom Rods.
When you lock in a prime date, you’ll have first priority to rebook that same date year after year. Don’t have a full group? Ask about our open boat list.
Late Spring
Thresher Sharks
New Jersey
Late May — June
Late May through June, we target one of the most exciting bites of the season—thresher sharks.
This is a short but action-packed window where these powerful fish move into our waters, known for their aerial displays and drag-peeling runs.
Fished on stand-up gear, this is a true hands-on battle. These fish jump, run, and test everything you’ve got—making for an unforgettable experience.
Prime dates for this fishery go fast.
Summer — Fall
Offshore Tuna
New Jersey Canyons
June — October
June through October, we focus on offshore tuna fishing—targeting everything from school fish to giants.
